Hong Kong 1865-99 assembly of thirty-seven envelopes from the Davis correspondence, comprising 1865-67 (4) from London to Shanghai, each bearing G.B. 1/4d. franking and inscribed ´via Marseilles´, 1873-99 (33) to London inscribed either by ´English Mail´, ´French Mail´ or ´via Brindisi´ and bearing Hong Kong adhesives, including 1863-71 12c., 24c., 30c. mauve, 1876-77 28c. on 30c., 1877 16c. yellow, 1882-96 2c., 5c., 10c., the majority being single frankings though a few double-rate or with two value frankings, cancellation types with ´S1´ Shanghai barred ovals (in blue or black), ´B62´ barred ovals in black or ´shanghae´ c.d.s., a range of supplementary markings, mostly very fine strikes. Also 1865-1935 entires/postal stationery cards (9) to/from Hong Kong with a range of adhesives/impressed values, 1906 postcard from Vladivostock to Paris with Russian 4k. adhesive.
