Great Britain Used Abroad Gibraltar 1869 (12 Feb.) yellow envelope "via France" to U.S.A., bearing 1d. Plate 103, 4d. Plate 10 and 1/- Plate 4, all placed sideways and cancelled "A26", showing Gibraltar, London Paid and New York Paid all c.d.s and "2/cents" h.s. on face, the reverse bearing attractive oval printed label inscribed "all letters and orders entrusted to our care meet the best attention/h. mascarhenas & hall/american agency/gibraltar."; envelope opened-out and with small faults in places though an attractive three-colour franking.
