Charles I, Tower mint, Shillings (2), group A, type 1, first bust, king wearing ruff and coronation robes, rev. long cross fourchee over square shield, m.m. lis, (a) bust 1, high crown with both arches jewelled (Sharp A1/1; N.2216; S.2776); (b) bust 2, larger crown, upper arch only jewelled (Sharp A2/1; N.2216; S.2776A), the first lightly double struck, mottled tone, almost very fine; the second dented on crown and below XII, some light scratches, good fine (2) Estimate £ 150-200
