STRAITS SETTLEMENTS India used in Straits Settlements 1855-65 Typographed Issues Malacca 1865 (Nov.) envelope to England, marked "Via Marseilles", bearing 8p. purple, 2a. orange and 4a. green, each clearly cancelled "B/109", showing framed "india paid" in red, manuscript "1/6" and framed "insufficient" with manuscript fine calculations alongside; the envelope damaged at upper left though a most attractive three colour franking.
