Chungking-Rangoon First Flight, illustrated envelope (226x101mm.) franked at 75c. and with first flight cachet in violet and signed by the pilot, and (1 Nov.) return flight envelope franked at 1r.2a.6p., showing boxed flight cachet in magenta and signed by the pilots Chinese observer. A scarce pair Estimate £ 200-250 Note: This flight was originally scheduled for 17 April when the rate was 65c.. It eventually took place in October by which time the postal rate had increased to 75c. Due to bad weather the plane was forced to land at Lashio. It took off the next morning and arrived at Rangoon
