Zanzibar — 1a. plum, an attempted reconstruction comprising a block of twelve and sixty-five singles mounted on a photocopy of the Vialou sheet, several showing minor type varieties; fair to fine mint, the block is scarce; 1896 (3 Apr.) envelope (some faults) to India bearing, on reverse, 1895-96 1/2a. green block of four and a single neatly cancelled with "bridge" type c.d.s.; also 1896 (15 Feb.) envelopes (2, both 256x104mm) ex the same correspondence registered to England, one bearing 1895-96 1/2a. (7), 1a. (2) and 1a.6p. (3), the other with 1a.6p. (4) and 3a., all cancelled with "reg." c.d.s., several other stamps removed from each though a scarce and unusual pair Estimate £ 150-200
