ST. HELENA Covers and Cancellations 1865 (21 June) envelope to Madras, redirected to Bellary, marked "Via England", bearing 1864 CC perf.121/2 1d.lake and 1/- deep yellow-green cancelled by Gothic "T" in circle, showing blue oval despatch d.s., red crayon "1/4" and "1", and red London Paid transit c.d.s.; upon redirection India 1856-64 1a. applied (uncancelled). The envelope with tear through flap and top of face panel caused through opening and a little soiled. A most unusual and attractive franking.
