A.J.C. Earl of Arran. R.H.G.); Coronation 1911; Turkey, Order of the Medjidieh, Fourth Class breast Badge, silver, gold and enamel, good very fine, the first three mounted as worn, with related miniature awards for these, with four riband bars, all with additional riband of the Order of St Patrick, one with the Turkish Order removed (4) Estimate £ 600-800 Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Jocelyn Charles Gore, 6th Earl of Arran, K.P., P.C. (1868-1958), son of the 5th Earl of Arran and the Hon. Edith, daughter of Viscount Jocelyn; Second Lieutenant, Royal Horse Guards, 1889; Lieutenant 1892; Captain 1895; served in the Egyptian Cavalry (Order of Medjidieh, invalided); served in South Africa with the Royal Horse Guards; Brev. Major 1900; Brigadier commanding all Officers´ Training Corps in Ireland 1909-12; invalided in 1914; raised and commanded the St Mawes Home Guard.
