Army Long Service & G.C., E.VII.R. 1st ´Field Marshal´s bust´ type (2820 Serjt: G. Freeman. 21st Lancers), nearly extremely fine Estimate £ 200-250 2820 Sergeant G. Freeman, served in Captain Eadon´s ´D´ Squadron, 21st Lancers, which formed the centre of the charge at Omdurman, and was wounded. ´D´ Squadron sustained the highest number of casualties (11 killed and 13 wounded).
