Indian Mutiny 1857-58, one clasp, Delhi (Captain A.B. Beatson, 1st Bengal Fusrs), extremely fine, with silver riband buckle, and two miniature awards, Army of India, with engraved clasp, Aliwal, and Mutiny, these also with silver riband buckles (3) Estimate £ 450-500 Major General Albert B. Beatson, Bengal Army, became Ensign 1840; Lieutenant 1845; served in the Sutlej campaign 1845-46; was present at the capture of Kote Kangra; was present before Delhi with the First European Bengal Fusiliers 1857, including the storming and capture of that city on 16 September; rose from Major 1861 to Major General in June 1875.
