Beatson, 1st Bengal Fusrs), extremely fine, with silver riband buckle, and two miniature awards, Army of India, with engraved clasp, Aliwal, and Mutiny, these also with silver riband buckles (3) Estimate £ 450-500 Major General Albert B. Beatson, Bengal Army, became Ensign 1840; Lieutenant 1845; served in the Sutlej campaign 1845-46; was present at the capture of Kote Kangra; was present before Delhi with the First European Bengal Fusiliers 1857, including the storming and capture of that city on 16 September; rose from Major 1861 to Major General in June 1875.
