Six: Attributed to Lance Corporal N Travett, Devonshire Regiment 1939-45, Africa, Italy, and France and Germany Stars: 1939-45 War Medal; Malta George Cross 50th Anniversary 1992, good very fine, the group mounted as worn, with a Normandy Campaign commemorative medal 1987, in case of issue, and a quantity of interesting original documents and photographs, including Travett´s Release Book; a 21st Army Group Good Service Certificate signed by Field Marshal Montgomery; a letter home from Travett dated Berlin 21 July 45 enclosing a copy of the souvenir programme for the British Victory Parade; various propaganda leaflets and pamphlets (lot) Estimate £ 200-300 5624738 Lance Corporal Norman Arthur Travett enlisted in the Devonshire Regiment 15.2.1940 and was released 8.5.1946
