Maori Chief Tamati Waka Nene and British Captain William Hobson shaking hands, crown above, WAITANGI in exergue, edge milled, 12h (KM 6; Dav. 443), some wispy hairlines to otherwise brilliant fields, toned in hues of ochre and blue, with darker patches in parts, with a handsome cameo definition, about as struck, one of only 468 proof issues struck of this iconic issue, thus very rare, in NGC holder, graded PROOF 66 CAMEO [*Joint Finest Certified*] (Cert. #6906664-001)
