A 19th Century Bronze Tibetan White Tara
Finely cast bronze White Tara, the female deity for health, healing and long life. She is the embodiment of wisdom and purity. Cast in the round, seated in vajrasana, holding a ceremonial object with both hands. Adorned in a simple dhoti and elaborate beaded jewelry, the serene face with a gentle smile beneath a high tiara. Seated on an integral lotus base. Missing one earring inset and base plate, otherwise excellent condition. Height 31cm. Width 20cm.
