Bank of Canada, Front & Back Printer's Model, $20, 1980,
the front of this Printer's Model features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a pearl necklace. The Parliament library in Ottawa is featured behind. This symbolic building, being the main centre for resources and information for the Parliament of Canada, was established in 1876. Varying hues of green and peach are displayed on the front, with snowflakes above the denomination on the left, and a maple leave embedded within the design at the bottom. The coat of arms is featured at the top and the denomination of $20 appears four times. The front reads both English and French text. On the back of this Printer's Model, birds are presented on the water with what appears to be ducklings. Canada is written in bold letters across the back, with a reflection of this word below.
