Queensland 1879-80 Typographed Issue Issued Stamps 1882 and 1883 envelopes registered "via Torres Strait" to London, the first from Normanton bearing 4d. and 6d. sharing "registered/normanton" handstamp in red and with despatch c.d.s. and London Registered oval d.s. on face, part Thursday Island c.d.s. on reverse, the second from Charters Towers bearing 2d., 4d.
