New South Wales Postal Stationery Embossed Letter Sheets 1846 pre-addressed letter sheet with impressed to order Coat-of Arms on both sides, the outward side to Dr. Bennett at Elizabeth St. cancelled on 4 May with Crowned "paid" d.s. in red and showing framed "6/oclock" handstamp, the reply side to the Secretary of the Australian Assurance Company at George St. showing "2" alongside framed "i/oclock" handstamp and with Sydney c.d.s. on flap; a most unusual two-way use of this postal stationery forerunner.
