Victoria (1837-1901), Pattern Five Pounds, 1839, “Una and the Lion” by William Wyon, young head facing left, hair bound by filletts, front one with six full scrolls, rear with 13 leaves, w.wyon on truncation, rev. Queen as Una leading the British lion, dirige type legend, date in Roman numerals in exergue, edge, inscribed and dated tertio (L&S 17 type 2AW; S.3851), heavily surface marked both sides with digs and light scratches, possibly edge repaired at top, with other light abrasions, otherwise extremely fine and rare Estimate £ 10,000-12,000
