Henry IV (1399-1413), light coinage, Noble, 6.85g., London, type IV, king standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield, annulet and slipped trefoil on ship's side, crennelated castles, rev., floriated cross with lis ends, pellet and h in centre, slipped trefoil in third quarter, saltire/double saltire stops, m.m. cross pattee on reverse only (c.f. Scneider 202; N.1355; S.1715), small spade mark on reverse, and a tiny edge nick at 12 o'clock, otherwise very fine for this issue, rare Estimate £ 2,000-2,500 provenance:
