France 1875-76, a collection of covers and cards used around the time of joining the U.P.U. with 1875 (31 Dec.) entire to Birmingham bearing 30c. franking (the last day) and envelope to London dated 29 Dec., plus covers from Liverpool dated 1875 (7 Dec.) bearing 3d. franking and "insufficiently prepaid" and 1876 (18 Jan.) bearing 1d. paying the printed paper rate; December 1875 covers to Naples, Trento, U.S.A. and from Switzerland, January 1876 cover to Alexandria and from Switzerland plus some formula stationery cards with 15c. franking paying the U.P.U. rate (6).
