Collections and Ranges A West African mint and used selection on leaves, including Gambia with 1869-72 no watermark 4d. brown and 4d. pale brown (unused), 6d. blue (used), 1874 CC 4d. brown (used), 4d. pale brown (unused), 6d. deep blue (2 used), and a range of other watermark and perf. issues to 1902; Gold Coast 1875-1901 with 1875 CC 1d. blue and 6d. orange (used), 1883 1/2d. olive-yellow and 1d. blue (used); Lagos with 1874-75 set to 1/- (6d. used) with additional 1/- value showing 16mm long value, 1884-86 2/6d. olive-black (used); Sierra Leone, with 1860 6d. imperforate plate proof, 1872-73 watermark sideways 1d., 3d., 4d. mint and 4d. and 1/- used, watermark upright to 1/- used with additional mint 2d. and a range of later issues including 1893 watermark CA 1/2d. on 11/2d. pale violet variety surcharge inverted and another example with variety "pfnny"; also a selection of Bechuanaland with values to 10/-.
