†George III, Restrike Pattern Penny, 1797, struck in bronzed copper on a thin flan, long haired laureate head facing right, small letter legend incuse on raised border, rev. struck en medaille, helmeted Britannia seated left holding trident on globe with shield and olive branch, date in exergue, ship to left, fainter one to right, edge, plain (Peck 1096 KP7 VS), a few hints of verdigris on reverse, otherwise as struck and very scarce
