Hainan Bank, 1949 issues, all with Sun Yat-sen on obverse, 2 cents (2) brown uniface, uncirculated (PS.1452), 5 cents (2) red uniface, uncirculated (PS1453), 20 cents, green, reverse palm trees, some fading, very fine (PS.1455), 50 cents maroon, reverse blue, junks good very fine (PS.1456), $1 brown-violet, palm trees and junks, good extremely fine (PS.1457) and $10 specimen, dark grey and lilac, reverse red violet, junk at centre, overprinted with two Chinese characters reading "sample" on front and handstamped in English on reverse "Sample HK Printing Press Ltd, 43 Jordan Road, Kowloon" (PS.1459), the latter almost uncirculated and very rare (8) Estimate HK$ 2,300-2,500
