GER • HVN • BOHE | MIÆ • REX • A : 1640, Bohemian Coat of Arms set atop crowned double-headed eagle, Chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece around, Mintmaster's mark: hand and star in bracket below, 34.63g, 2h (Dietiker 835; Fr. 213; KM 420; Halacka 1148), lightly cleaned, superficially marked and with slight peripheral softness, otherwise a sharp rendering, struck from Taler dies, handsomely bold and extremely sought after as a pinnacle of 17th Century Medallic-quality, very rare.
