Edward VI (1547-53), third period, Crown, 30.38g., 1552/1, m.m. tun, fine issue, king crowned and in armour with a sword over his shoulder, galloping right, date below, reads franci z hib, rev. long cross fourchée over royal shield, large lis in quarters (Lingford dies A-13; N.1933; S.2478), a pleasing and attractively toned example, good very fine, rare thus Estimate £ 1,750-2,000 provenance:
