Elizabeth I (1558-1603), second issue, Shilling, 5.99g., bust 3B, crowned bust left, wearing dress with elaborate decoration between straps, three pellets after elizabeth, reads ang fr et hi, rev. long cross fourchée over square shield, m.m. martlet (Brown and Comber 3B; N.1985; S.2555), a very pleasing coin, the portrait delicately engraved and almost as struck, with an attractive light tone, almost extremely fine, very rare of this bust in this condition Estimate £ 400-500
