Henry I, Penny, 1.38g., type XI, Shaftesbury, Aldred, large artistic crowned bust left, wearing robe and holding sceptre, henri r, rev. double inscription around cross pattée, outer inscription divided by four quatrefoils, aldred on seftes (BMC -; N.867; S.1272), tiny official edge nick, an excellent coin, struck just off-centre on a full round flan, with a clear portrait and legends, good very fine, extremely rare Estimate £ 2,000-2,500
