†National Bank, A group of ten negative photographs of "The National Bank of Egypt" P.T. 25, P. T. 50, L.E. 1, L.E. 5 and L.E. 10. Each note has a face and back of an un-adopted design, the 10 with a vignette at corner with initials GD (Giesecke and Devrint). Together with ten black and white photographs of the notes (face and back), highly unusual and very rare, possibly trial work by Giesecke to obtain the contract to print notes. Estimate £ 800-1,000
