CAPE OF GOOD HOPE 1861 "Woodblock" Issue Due to the nature of the paper used for these issues many examples show irregularities, both in the form of surface pitting and in the form of pre-printing paper creases. Our descriptions usually exclude the above, any defects mentioned being those which occurred after the stamps were delivered Four Pence Pale Grey-Blue Pair Types IA and II, good to large margins and clearly cancelled; small thin in one corner, otherwise fine and a scarce multiple.
