†A Rifles Officer's Busby A good astrakhan busby with black braid figure to top and plaited cord festoon secured by small bugle-horns, black corded boss mounted with QVC, and patent leather chinstrap, now fitted with a black egret over green vulture plume (probably originally of the Royal Irish Rifles) in good white metal socket, and complete with cap-lines (bugle-horn front-plate missing, silk upper element of lining largely defective, socket for boss insecure) See illustration Estimate £ 120-180
