†Foreign Headress A United States Army blue cloth helmet with gilding metal Eagle plate, mounted with numeral 1 in white metal, drooping orange horsehair plume in brass socket on oakleaf base, the helmet fitted with yellow worsted cords forming two plaited festoons in front and terminating with flounders and tassels; a post-1947 Indian Army imitation lungi (turban), formed of pleated blue cotton stitched on to a buckram frame, around a false kullah and embellished with a crimped upright fan of yellow cotton with blue and red stripes; and another lungi of similar construction, in crimson material with gold fringe (3) See illustration of two items Estimate £ 80-120
