Shore, 28th Foot), edge bruising, good very fine Estimate £ 1,200-1,500 Private George Shore, born Roadstock, Somerset; discharged 30.12.1822, after serving 17 years and 254 days with the Regiment, 'in consequence of violent injury received on his foot by the fall of a large stone whilst employed on public fatigue duty at this Palace, with partial loss of motion, and being wounded in action...he was wounded twice in the right thigh on the 13 December 1813 at Bayonne'; discharge papers refer.
