Simpson), in Spink, London, damaged case (4) Estimate £ 340-380 Major Cecil Harold Simpson, (1868-1941), educated at Eton; Lieutenant, served with 11th Company 3rd Battalion Imperial Yeomanry 27.1.1900-02, South Africa, operations in Cape Colony, north of Orange River, including action at Ruidam, operations in Orange River Colony, and at Lindley, June 1900; advanced to Major, Yorkshire Dragoons, Imperial Yeomanry 1901, invalided home; served during the Great War as Honorary Lieutenant Colonel Late Territorial Force, Major Territorial Force Reserve.
