Surg.); British War and Victory Medals, Q.S.A. re-named, the War and Victory Medals probably later issues together with Queen's South Africa, three clasps Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal (83563 Gnr: A. Thomas, 66th Bty: R.F.A.), fine; Victory Medal (920 Sjt. W. Tucker. Rif. Brig.), 1939-45 War Medal, very fine or better (7) Estimate £ 70-90 Fleet Surgeon Henry Edward Tomlinson; entered the Royal Navy, 1892, appointed to H.M.S. Victory for service at Haslar Hospital; between 1894-1900 served in ships including H.M.S. Imogene at Malta and H.M.S. Rambler at Bermuda; Staff Surgeon 1900; appointed to Plymouth Division, Royal Marine Light Infantry 1901; joined H.M.S. Ereria at Esquimalt, 1903; Fleet Surgeon 1908; between 1908-1914 served in H.M.S. Acheron, H.M.S. Vanguard (a Battle Ship of the Home Fleet) and H.M.S. Imperieuse Depot Ship at Portland for service at Royal Hospital; retired 1914.
