Portugal Colonies Portuguese India A fine and valuable collection of earlier issues on pages with 1871 thin paper values to 200r. unused and used plus stout paper 200r. and 300r. used (both with 1939 R.P.S. certificates), 1871-73 values to 900r. claret unused with shades and papers, 1873-75 with large and small figures including large 10r. with value double in a block of nine and 20r. vermilion used in combination with India 1/2a. on reverse of envelope from Margai to Bombay, 1876 die III set to 900r. unused with some shades, duplicated die IV values with 20r. covers (2), 1877 die V set to 900r. (2), a fine ranges of 1881 surcharges including 11/2 on 10r. black (1937 R.P.S. certificate), 11/2 on die I 20r. orange-vermilion, 5 on 10r. die V blocks of four and eight, 6 on 200r. unused and used (2), 1881 Crowns surcharged with better values and some varieties, 1883 reissue of first type including 6r. green value omitted used, surcharges, 1896 imperf. sheet of twenty-eight without value in grey-green and in rose and imperf. sheet of 6r. overprinted "republica".
