STRAITS SETTLEMENTS Postage Due 1927 (21 Oct.) envelope from Uruguay to Singapore, franked at 5m., bearing Straits Postage Due 8c. and 10c. tied by Singapore double-ring d.s. and framed "charge not collected/fresh label required" (Type I74), and showing "T" h.s. with framed "Inconnu./Not known" (Type I33), "retour/à l'envoyeur/inconnu" and, on reverse, "dead letter office/singapore" oval d.s. in red; the cover a little discoloured and with some peripheral faults.
