Missouri, Kirksville. Bank of St. Louis. $5. 18xx (1850s-1860s). No. 14871. Man carrying sack out of a mill near horse and foal at center, woman at left. Organized ca. 1857, the Bank of St. Louis remained in business in 1865 when it became the St. Louis National Bank. The Kirksville Bank which had been organized in November 1859 was liquidated around the same time. ABNC. PMG Very Good 10.
