SUDAN Egyptian Adhesives used in the Sudan Massawa 1879 (21 Dec.) envelope (217x90mm.) addressed by Gordon Pasha and registered to Colonel Elwyn-Harvey at Gibraltar, showing "poste khedevie egiziane" c.d.s. and intaglio seal of Massawa, unframed "raccomandato" h.s. and two strikes of Gibraltar arrival d.s. (13.1) with, on reverse, Suez and Port Said transit d.s. as well as the personal handstamp of Pasha Gordon; the cover with a few minor peripheral faults and vertical crease towards left.
