SUDAN Egyptian Adhesives used in the Sudan Khartoum 1884 (4 Mar.) envelope to Colonel Wilson in London, bearing 1879 1pi. rose tied by bi-lingual c.d.s. (Stagg Type 11), showing another strike alongside and signed by General Gordon at lower left with transit and arrival datestamps on reverse. Also Gordon's seal and his signature and a 60x40mm. wrapper, which contained his last letter, addressed in Arabic "to the English".
