The Commercial Bank of Scotland Limited, proof £ 1, 1 Nov. 1881, black and white uniface proof on thicker paper, classical frieze from the pediment of the Bank's Head office in Edinburgh top centre, value in oval panels top left and right, 'pay to bearer' in text, printers imprint 'Perkins, Bacon & Co.
