Wilts: Regt.); King's South Africa, with two clasps; 1914 Star, with bar (loose) (Pte. 2/Wilts); British War and Victory Medals, mounted for wear, nearly extremely fine, together with recipient's riband bar; a Bradford 1914-19 bronze Tribute Medal (H. Gilbert Burton), in case of issue, with enclosure; Princess Mary's Christmas Fund tin (1914), containing: an empty cigarette packet, an empty tobacco packet, and Christmas card; various contemporary newspaper cuttings; three photographs of the recipient and his family; recipient's identity disk; a Services Rendered badge; a metal tip of an Army Service Corps Swagger Stick; a contemporary (1914) Iodine Ampoule in packaging; Programme of Service for Private Burton's Funeral (5) Estimate £ 280-320 According to Paper cutting Burton was soo severly wounded that he had to have his leg amputated.
