Rgt.); King's South Africa, two clasps; Turkey, Order of the Medjidjie, 4th class breast Badge, silver, gold and enamel, extremely fine (3) Estimate £ 280-320 Captain Claude Buchanan Tugwell (1863-1917), Lieutenant 1885; Captain 1892; employed with the Egypt Constabulary 1892-99 (Order of the Medjidjie, London Gazette 30.7.1895 ); Served in South Africa 1899-1902, operations including Spion Kop, Vaal Krantz, and Pieters Hill; sometime employed in Sierra Leone during the Great War.
