Feb.) entire letter with beautiful embossed border inside containing shells and flowers, with sender´s handwritten Valentine poem, used locally in Newport (Mon.) bearing 1840 1d. plate VI, DF, margins nearly all round (just clipped at top-right corner), tied by good strike of the black Maltese Cross; adhesive with slight perimeter toning and entire with light folds, otherwise fine.
