†Malta 1864 (7 Mar.) red-brown registered envelope to Bombay with "the mediteranean extension telegraph company limited" seal in deep blue on flap and printed "telegraphic message." on face, bearing G.B. 1861 2d. blue Plate 9 vertical pair and 1862 6d. lilac Plate 2, twice neatly cancelled with "A25" duplex; the envelope with some minor creasing though a very rare and attractive franking.
