Antarctica The Scott First Relief Expedition 1903 envelope, with Expedition crest printed in blue on flap, to England, bearing National Antarctic Expedition engraved vignette in deep blue and New Zealand 1d. Universal (2) sharing two Lyttelton squared circles for 25 March, the reverse with Christchurch c.d.s. (25 March) and Plymouth arrival c.d.s. (4 May); the vignette a little soiled, nevertheless a rare and important new discovery cover written in the hand of Dr. Thoams Vere Hodgson, Director of the Marine Biological Association Laboratory, Plymouth and who was Biologist on the First Expedition.
