Italian States Modena A mint and used selection (19), including 1852 (1 Jan.) issue with no stop after figure, 5c. to 25c. camoscio and 40c. azzurro scuro, lightly used, with stop after figure, 5c. verde, 5c. verde oliva and 10c. lightly used, plus 40c. and 1 lira; segnatasse per giornale (newspaper tax stamps) 1853 9c. violetto grigio, with four even margins, used and a mainly mint selection including 1855-97 9c. pair from the upper right corner; some faults though generally fine.
