Uganda 1895 (25 Nov.) two page foolscap letter from Rev. Ernest Miller at Mmirembe (Kampala) Buganda; headed "My dear Cook" the letter details missionary matters in Uganda at the time and his personal responsibilties amongst which he states "I am Post Master General to the Mission, print all the stamps used in the whole country & keep the Goverment supplied"; the letter typed on the same paper and using the same typewriter, used to produce the "Cowrie" stamps; the second page severed in two, nevertheless a remarkable and highly important philatelic document Estimate £ 400-500 Note: "Cook" was Dr. (later Sir) Albert Cook who arrived in Kampala on 19 February 1897 and who later that year established the first C.M.S. hospital at Mengo
