Transvaal First British Occupation Issues 1877-79 unused (41) and used (28) selection of the "V. R." overprints, including red overprints (5), 1877 (June) imperf. 1/- with overprint inverted and fine roulette 1/- unused; 1877 (31 Aug.) imperf. 6d. mint strip of three and fine roulette 6d. with overprint inverted unused; 1877-79 imperf 1d. red on orange with overprint inverted, unused, 1d. red on orange mint vertical strip of four with one stamp being S.G. Type 7, 6d. blue on blue used vertical pair comprising S.G. Types 6 and 7 se-tenant, and a few purporting to have wide roulettes, and 1879 imperf. 1d and 3d. mauve on blue mint blocks of four, fine roulette 1d. used (tears) and four others with roulettes; condition rather mixed though a good assembly of these fascinating stamps.
