Sassone #32b, 1878 2c on 30c Lake, inverted surcharge, fresh used single of this popular error, attractive clear color and well positioned surcharge, light unobtrusive cancel that allows the variety to show exceptionally well, usual fine centering; all of the values of this set exist with inverted surcharges and are scarce, virtually all of them are used and this is the normal way they are collected as mint examples are great rarities; a scarce genuine certified example of these often faked varieties; signed A.
