A Trio of Early American Ancestral Patriotic Society Badges to Frances Beardsley Collier:

General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Gold (14k) Badge. J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. The Mayflower sailing upon waves framed by a floral wreath, banner at base "1620 PLYMOUTH 1897". Engraved to: Frances / Beardsley / Collier / 2366 / 14119. With gold (14k) colored and enameled lapel pin. Aggregate: 13.04 gms (including gold pinback hanger, lapel pin and ribbon). Founded at Plymouth in 1897, the General Society of Mayflower Descendants is a hereditary organization of men and women who have documented their descent from one or more of the Mayflower's 102 passengers.

National Society Daughters of the American Colonists. Gold (14k) and enamels. J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. Gold tree against blue at center of shield, society name on white enamel around, crest with gold acorn and leaves above. Suspended from a 14k gold pinback hanger inscribed "CALIFORNIA". Engraved to "Frances / Beardsley / Collier / 5703. With gold (14k) and blue enamel lapel pin. Aggregate: 10.19 gms (including gold hanger, lapel pin and ribbon). Founded in 1920, the National Society Daughters of the American colonists is made of members who show direct lineage to a relative who served in a patriotic or civil service prior to July 4, 1776. Both in original J.E.Caldwell cases of issue.

Daughters of Founders & Patriots of America. Gilt and enamels. On central medallion, two Revolutionary War era men shaking hands, on a eight-point, ball-tipped star; displayed eagle on back with D F & P shield on breast; A PATRIA CONDITA above. Engraved to "Frances / Beardsley / Collier / 4071". With lapel pin. "William Beardsley" and "Samuel Beardsley" on pinback hanger. The D.F. & P. of A. was founded in 1898 by Miss Eugenia Washington, great grandniece of George Washington, Mrs. Henry V. Boynton and Mrs. William L. Mason. Members must show an unbroken paternal line of either the father of mother going back to a founder who arrived in the Colonies between May 13, 1607 and May 13, 1687, and in this line an intermediate ancestor who assisted in establishing American independence during the Revolutionary period from 1775 to 1784.
