Great Britain. Victoria (1837-1901). Great Exhibition 1851, Prize Medal. Bronze, 77mm. By W. Wyon. Conjoined busts of Victoria and Albert left, trident behind, dolphin before, rev. Britannia seated right placing a wreath upon the head of a kneeling Industry, Africa, America, Asia and Europe standing behind in attendance. Awarded to: "J. WANSBOROUGH. CLASS XXVIII." on edge. BHM 2462, Eimer 1456. Shallow scrape across edge removing the first "O" in the recipient's name. Otherwise Uncirculated and lovely.
